After 18 months of advising 7 Brigade Level commanders, Kyle transferred to the United States Army Infantry School where he taught Military Justice and the Laws of War to Officer Candidates, Infantry Officers, and over 30,000  individual  replacements for the Global War on Terrorism.  Kyle was also selected to be a Field Screening Officer by the Judge Advocate Recruiting Office, as well approved to act as a part time military magistrate by the US Army Trial Judiciary where he presided over 20 pretrial confinement hearings.
